On 28 October 2025, the Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of welcoming business delegations from Romania and Moldova.
Organised in close collaboration with the Belgian-Luxembourg-Romanian-Moldovan Chamber of Commerce, BEROCC, and with the support of the Romanian-Luxembourg Business Forum, RomLux, the visit provided a collaborative platform for dialogue and building partnerships across key sectors such as ICT, cleantech, logistics, and finance.
Held in the presence of H.E. Ms. Alexandrina-Livia Rusu, Ambassador of Romania to Luxembourg, H.E. Mr. Viorel Cibotaru, Ambassador of Moldova to Belgium and Luxembourg, and H.E. Mr. Charles Delogne, Ambassador of Belgium to Luxembourg, the event brought together fifty participants from Luxembourg, Romania, and Moldova.
The programme featured presentations by BEROCC, RomLux, as well as representatives from Romanian and Moldovan companies, who shared insights into their respective economic landscapes and key sectors. To foster direct exchanges, the event included pre-arranged B2B meetings, allowing participants to explore new avenues for collaboration in areas of strategic mutual interest. Interactions continued in a convivial atmosphere during a networking lunch, further strengthening connections between the participating business communities.
Building on the momentum of the trade mission to Romania in 2024, this event marked another step forward in deepening bilateral relations with Romania, while simultaneously opening news doors for collaboration with Moldova.
Throughout the day, the discussions reaffirmed the shared heritage, commitment to quality and strong ties that connect Luxembourg, Romania, and Moldova, while highlighting their joint ambition to foster innovation and strengthen economic cooperation across Europe.
