Country Seminar: Lithuania

The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and the Embassy of Lithuania to Luxembourg are pleased to invite you to join the country seminar presenting Business Opportunities between Lithuania and Luxembourg on September 29, 2015 at 16h30 at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (7, rue Alcide de Gasperi in Luxembourg-Kirchberg).

Lithuania’s small but dynamic economy has almost doubled in size since 2000. With a growth forecast of 3.3% for 2016, the country emerges as one of the fastest growing economies in the EU. The beginning of this year was marked by the introduction of the Euro. As the last of the Baltic States, Lithuania became the 17^th EU member State to join the Eurozone with the introduction of the single currency on January 1, 2015. Lithuania’s main areas of focus are shared services, manufacturing including mechanical engineering and electronics, ICT and Life Sciences. Interesting opportunities also arise for foreign companies in the fields of public infrastructure projects and public-private-partnerships.

This country seminar aims at informing interested companies about the Lithuanian economic landscape and business opportunities between Luxembourg and Lithuania in various sectors of activity. During this event, special emphasis will be put on the financial sector, and more specifically on banking and venture capital. The seminar will be followed by a networking reception.
