Since arriving in Luxembourg in January 2025, Swiss ambassador Benno Laggner has made it his mission to move the bilateral relationship beyond its well-established financial axis. With 110 years of diplomatic relations to mark in 2027, he sees cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, space and education as the next frontier--and believes two of Europe's smaller nations have more to gain from cooperating than from competing.
