A new think tank has joined Luxembourg’s policy landscape with ambitions to contribute to debates on Europe’s future. The Cercle Européen Renert (CER) officially launched on 11 June as an independent non-profit organisation focused on Europe’s long-term strategic challenges and their implications for the Grand Duchy. The initiative brings together diplomats, academics, business representatives and members of civil society around issues ranging from security and economic resilience to sustainability and digital transformation.
