

On 14 October 2024, the newly composed Arbitration Council of the Luxembourg Arbitration Center held its inaugural meeting at the Chambre de Commerce. This meeting marked the beginning of a new chapter in the development and modernisation of the Center.
Since then, on 1 October 2025, the Council has welcomed three additional members:
Me Olivier Cachard, Professor of Law at the University of Nancy (France), Dean of the Faculty of Law of Nancy (2005–2010), lawyer at the Metz Bar (France), and arbitrator
Me André Prum, President of the Luxembourg Arbitration Association, Professor of Law at the University of Luxembourg, lawyer at the Luxembourg Bar, and arbitrator
M. Georges Ravarani, Vice-President of the European Court of Human Rights (2022–2024), Luxembourg Judge at the European Court of Human Rights (2015–2024)
The Council now has eight members, fully committed.
Their mission: to organise and ensure the proper conduct of arbitration proceedings, in accordance with the Centre's rules.
