From 5 to 9 January 2026, the Chamber of Commerce successfully conducted its fourth Trade Fair Visit to CES Las Vegas, the premier global gathering for innovation and technology. Each year, CES attracts pioneering companies and startups from around the world, offering a unique platform to showcase groundbreaking solutions, explore emerging trends, and engage with leading decision-makers, investors, and technology professionals. This year’s edition welcomed over 150 000 participants and 4 100 exhibitors from more than 150 countries. Organised in close collaboration with the Embassy of Luxembourg in Washington and the Luxembourg Trade and Investment Office (LTIO) in San Francisco, the trade fair visit brought together 22 participants.

Breakthrough innovations presented at CES 2026

Known to announce the latest breakthroughs, this edition buzzed with technologies that will shape the next decade. The highlights included Bosch debuting Cook Al, a smart kitchen solution combining Al, sensors, and connected appliances for personalised cooking experiences; LEGO introducing its interactive Smart Brick, a tech-enhanced brick that lights up, reacts, and brings creations to life; Hyundai showcasing its autonomous Atlas robot with human-scale hands and 360° vision; and LG presenting its CLOiD home robot, demonstrating how intelligent agents can assist with everyday tasks.

CES also witnessed major strategic announcements and partnerships, with Siemens and NVIDIA forging a new Al-driven industrial revolution to reinvent manufacturing, production, and supply chain management. Furthermore, Hyundai joined forces with Google DeepMind, combining expertise to accelerate Al-driven solutions for real-world applications. These announcements highlight how technology and AI are transforming everyday life.

Against the backdrop of these global innovations, the Luxembourg delegation’s programme offered participants a unique opportunity to fully capitalise on the world’s premier tech showcase.

Programme of the delegation and key highlights

Over the course of four days, Luxembourg companies immersed themselves in cutting-edge innovations across a variety of sectors, such as artificial intelligence, digital health, space tech and advanced mobility, while also taking the opportunity to present their own expertise to an international audience. They visited several country pavilions, including France, Korea, Japan, Switzerland, and the City of Phoenix, interacting with local companies to discover their innovations and learn about national tech landscapes. Participants also engaged with representatives from major global companies such as Amazon, Oracle, Qualcomm, and dSPACE, exploring innovative solutions and discussing trends likely to shape the future of technology.

In addition, delegates attended several keynote sessions, including the AMD Keynote and the combined CTA State of the Industry and Siemens Keynote, which showcased real-world applications of artificial intelligence across multiple sectors and provided further insights into technological developments and industry perspectives, with contributions from leaders such as OpenAI, Luma AI, Generative Bionic, Nvidia, and PepsiCo.

The programme also offered many networking opportunities, including the CES International Reception and receptions hosted by the Canadian and Belgian pavilions.

H.E. Ms. Nicole Bintner-Bakshian, Ambassador of Luxembourg to the United States, and Mr. Joseph Senninger, Consul General and Executive Director of the LTIO San Francisco, joined the delegation during various parts of the programme, offering participating companies the opportunity to discuss their projects, explore US market entry strategies, and exchange views on business development in North America.

Showcasing Luxembourg’s tech excellence

Luxembourg actively demonstrated its technological capabilities on the CES exhibition floor. At its booth, Data Design Engineering showcased its offline AI and GPS/GNSS-denied autonomous navigation drone technology, presenting several of its drones underlining Luxembourg’s capabilities in advanced autonomous systems. Meanwhile, OQ Technology participated in the panel “Excellence from Europe – EU Startup Showcase: Edge to Orbit IoT – Global Connectivity for Smart Infrastructure” within the European Stage Programme, highlighting Luxembourg’s dynamic tech landscape. The company also took advantage of CES in Las Vegas to announce a strategic partnership with the American company Monogoto, integrating its low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellation into a global hybrid connectivity platform combining terrestrial and satellite networks.
