The Chamber of Commerce, in close collaboration with the Embassy of Luxembourg in London, the Ministry of the Economy, and Luxinnovation, successfully organised a Trade Mission to the United Kingdom from 24 to 26 September 2025.
Focusing on digital health technologies, the mission reflected Luxembourg’s commitment to driving digital innovation while exploring new opportunities for collaboration with the UK’s world-leading life sciences ecosystem.
On 24 September, the delegation visited the Health Innovation Network South London, co-hosted with DigitalHealth.London, to gain an overview of the UK healthcare system and its digital transformation priorities. Participants also gained practical insights into market access, and Luxembourg companies had the opportunity to showcase their innovations to a UK audience.
On 25 September, the delegation met with MedCity to learn about its role in connecting health and life science businesses across London. At the Health Foundry, participants discovered how digital health innovators benefit from a dedicated workspace and tailored support. In the afternoon, the programme continued with a session hosted by ORCHA, covering digital health accreditation, regulatory requirements, and pathways for adoption within the NHS.
An official reception hosted by H.E. Mr. Georges Friden, Ambassador of Luxembourg to the United Kingdom, and the Chamber of Commerce, brought together key partners from both countries, underlining the strong bilateral ties and the shared ambition to foster HealthTech innovation.
The mission concluded on 26 September with a learning session at the Luxembourg Embassy with Blick Rothenberg on practical steps for setting up in the UK.
Overall, the Trade Mission to London showcased the diversity and strength of the UK’s health innovation ecosystem and laid a strong foundation for new collaborations between Luxembourg and the United Kingdom.
