Foundation Idea economist Michel-Edouard Ruben, had already taken up the pen last August to comment on Finance Minister Gilles Roth’s (CSV) interview in the weekly Télécran on the subject of individualising personal taxation, pointing out the “ambiguities” of the project. It did so again on Tuesday 4 November, with a new note that makes four comments on the presentation of the 2026 budget, made by the same Finance Minister to the Chamber of Deputies on 8 October.
