From 17 to 20 June 2026, Luxembourg participated for the 8th consecutive time in VivaTech, Europe’s biggest startup and tech event, held in Paris. Celebrating its 10th edition, the event gathered the global innovation community including tech leaders, startups, investors, major corporations and policymakers.

Germany, this year’s Country of Honour, was strongly represented by politician and industry leaders as well as key players from its tech ecosystem, while India took on the center stage as AI Country Partner, notably through the participation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This landmark edition also welcomed major figures such as Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon and Blue Origin, and Bernard Arnault, Chairman and CEO of LVMH, further confirming VivaTech’s international reach and influence.

The Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Luxembourg Trade & Invest and Startup Luxembourg, organised the National Pavilion to position Luxembourg as a trusted, agile and highly connected innovation hub in Europe.

The pavilion showcased the diversity and strength of Luxembourg’s tech ecosystem, supporting the internationalisation of Luxembourg-based companies and facilitating concrete business opportunities.

This year, thirteen innovative companies participated, representing a broad range of solutions in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies: Arxy Future Lab, Better.ette, Deelan.ai, Dropslab, EasyBiz, Fundvis, HappyKids, Infercom, Monnett, RoasterCup, Tumi Robotics, Videobot and Voltcore. Together, they demonstrated Luxembourg’s ability to combine technological excellence, entrepreneurial agility and cross-border collaboration on one of Europe’s most influential innovation stages.

Luxembourg’s presence was further highlighted by the participation of Mr Xavier Bettel, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Ms Stéphanie Obertin, Minister for Digitalisation and Minister for Research and Higher Education, and Ms Cindy Tereba, CTO & Director International Affairs, Chamber of Commerce. Their visit of the national pavilion underlined the strong institutional commitment to supporting innovation and reinforced visibility of Luxembourg companies on this international tech scene.

Held on the opening day at the prestigious Residence of the Luxembourg Embassy in Paris, the Official Reception continued a longstanding tradition of bringing participants together for an evening of exchange and networking in the presence of Minister Obertin.

Speaking at the Official Reception Cindy Tereba, CTO & Director International Affairs stated: “For a country of our size, innovation is not an option but a necessity. As such, Luxembourg, which aims to become one of Europe’s most attractive innovation hubs, already ranks 6th in Europe and 13th globally ahead Germany, Belgium, France or Ireland”.

Talent is also a key pillar of Luxembourg’s participation as Work in Luxembourg will be highlighted on Saturday 20 June at VivaTech’s open-access Festival Day, dedicated to future talent and the wider public. This initiative position Luxembourg as an attractive destination for international skills, innovative careers and professional opportunities within a dynamic and multilingual economy.

With around 180,000 attendees, 14,000 startups, 4,000 partners, more than 450 leading speakers and over 30 business sectors represented, VivaTech offered Luxembourg a powerful platform to reinforce its position as a launchpad for high-value innovation, a gateway to European markets and a partner of choice for startups, scale ups and technology-driven businesses.
