According to the Chamber of Commerce, at its meeting on Friday 17 July 2026, the Government Council (Cabinet) adopted a bill that will have a significant impact on Luxembourg’s economy: the gradual extension of mandatory electronic invoicing to business-to-business (B2B) transactions in Luxembourg. This development follows the successful introduction of mandatory electronic invoicing for transactions with the public sector (B2G).
