Accessibility Statement
(version dated 3 April 2025)

The Chamber of Commerce (“La Chambre de Commerce”), the organisation issuing the statement, is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Luxembourg law of 28 May 2019 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies. This accessibility statement applies to: https://www.cc.lu/

What is digital accessibility?

Everyone should be able to easily use and consult the information on a website or an app, in particular people with disabilities and/or using assistive software or specialised equipment (e.g., visual, hearing, physical and cognitive disabilities, etc.).

Compliance status

This website partially compliant with European Standard EN 301 549 and with the Web Accessibility Assessment Framework (RAWeb) v1 that implements it, due to the reasons listed below.

Content not accessible

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reason(s):

Disproportionate burden

  • Several pages contain links that do not have descriptive text. | WCAG: 4.1.2
  • On all pages, there is insufficient contrast between the text and the background. | WCAG: 1.4.3
  • There are some <Iframe> elements that do not have a caption, which makes them difficult to navigate with screen readers. | WCAG: 4.1.2
  • On several pages, the language defined in HTML does not correspond to the language of the page content. | WCAG: 3.1.1
  • Some pages contain invalid ARIA attributes, which prevents them from being detected by screen readers and these pages are therefore not displayed correctly. | WCAG: 4.1.2
  • Some pages have parental elements without a corresponding child, which can confuse screen reader users, as content is expected but none exists. | WCAG: 1.3.1
  • Lists on some pages contain items that are not correctly listed. The lists may therefore not be displayed correctly by assistive technologies. | WCAG: 1.3.1

Accessibility features

  • Font size: enlarges the font without modifying the website
  • High contrast mode: adjusts font and background colours for optimum contrast
  • Blue filter: protects the eyes and prevents artificial wakefulness in the user.
  • Automatic mode can be selected via the accessibility icon, with two options: one that adapts depending on the position of the sun, and the other that applies all the time.
  • Night mode: adjusts the contrast to a level that is easy on the eyes.
  • Website text-to-speech: reads the website or individual content aloud.
  • Operation using mouse and keyboard.
  • Colour weaknesses. All colours are adjusted by an algorithm to compensate for colour vision deficiencies (e.g. red-green weakness).
  • Hide images: Hides all images on the website and in the tool.
  • Navigation tab: Navigate the website using only the keyboard.
  • Activate the larger mouse cursor
  • Accessible font: Sets an accessible font for the website.
  • Hide all animations: Stops moving elements and animations on the page.
  • Mute sound/audio: Turns off the site’s sound and video.

Unless otherwise specified, all these features can be used by clicking on the accessibility icon on the right side of the screen and selecting the feature required.

Preparation of this Accessibility Statement
