Trade Mission to Croatia and Serbia

The Chamber of Commerce of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, in close cooperation with Bruxelles Export & Invest, the Croatian Chamber of Economy and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, will organize a multi-sectoral mission to Croatia and Serbia. The Trade Mission will last from the 18^th to 21^st of April, starting in Zagreb before heading to Belgrade.

Croatia, European Union Member State since July 2013, has demonstrated great dynamism during the decade following the end of conflicts in the region in managing its conversion to a functional market economy. According to Eurostat (December 2015), with 1.3% growth in GDP, Croatia is the country considered with the strongest growth, despite a high unemployment rate and continued public deficit. Meanwhile, the tourism sector is booming and guarantees a steady inflow of foreign currency. The potential investment sectors are: tourism infrastructure and facilities in the hospitality sector, chemistry, energy infrastructure, environment, equipment for the construction industry, transportation and telecommunication.
