The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce has the pleasure of inviting you to the "Doing Business with the Moscow Region" webinar held together with the Deputy Governor of the Moscow Region, Mr. Vadim Khromov, on May 28, 2020 from 11:00 to 12:00.

Over 60 various measures to support businesses are currently being developed and implemented in the Moscow Region: unique tax benefits, compensation for the costs of creating engineering infrastructure, allocation of land without a tender, customs preferences for foreign investors, and many more. Additionally, about 80 infrastructure sites have been created for the construction of new industries with direct access to gas, electricity and utility networks as well as roads.

Today, the Moscow Region accounts for 5% of the Russian GDP. The region is 2nd in the country in terms of Domestic Regional Product (with about $ 55 billion a year) and second in terms of inhabitants with its 7.4 million inhabitants. This abundance of resources - of human, infrastructural, industrial nature - creates unique opportunities for starting a business in any sector of the economy.

In 2018-2019, large companies including Mercedes-Benz, Knauf, Kermi and Barilla opened production plants in the Moscow Region. Moreover, two large trade and logistics centres in Russia, Auchan and Leroy Merlin, were opened in the same period.

In these economically tumultuous times, the Government of the Moscow Region seeks to continuously inform companies of all ongoing changes in legislation and provide the greatest possible support to enterprises interested in doing business in the region. Russian regions are also expanding federal measures to support enterprises and business.

The event will be held online via the webconferencing platform ZOOM. Following your registration, a link allowing you to partake in the webinar will be sent to your email address.

During the webinar, representatives of the Luxembourgish business community will be introduced to the project implementation opportunities in the Moscow Region, promising and priority areas of industrial sector development and Government support measures for businesses.

The event is free of charge. In order to participate, you are kindly requested to duly complete the linked registration form no later than 15 minutes before the event.

The Deputy Governor of the Moscow Region, Mr. Vadim Khromov, is available for separate B2G meetings after the presentations.
