Tenants and landlords could eventually bring disputes over rental deposits and final service-charge accounts before a national conciliation body, according to plans presented to MPs in May. The government has approved a draft law replacing municipal and cantonal rent commissions, but has not confirmed the final scope of the new body's powers or when it would start.
