Back to the Web Summit! The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce renewed its long-standing tradition of organising its Trade Fair Visit in close cooperation with Startup Luxembourg and the Embassy of Luxembourg in Portugal.

Luxembourg made a strong impression at Web Summit 2025 with an energetic delegation of 50 participants to one of the world’s most influential tech gathering.

The 2025 event embraced a bold theme: “Innovation moves fast. Purpose moves faster. So where do we go next?” It was the strongest edition yet with over 71.000 attendees, 1.800 investors and 2.725 startups.

This year’s trade fair visit provided the delegation with unparalleled exposure to breakthrough technologies, tech evangelists and partnership opportunities. The Startup Portugal Hubs Tour offered an in depth insight into five of Portugal’s leading innovation hubs.

Targeted networking events such as the AI Networking Reception and Digital Health Meetup facilitated high-value exchanges in rapidly transforming industries.

The Official Reception hosted by the Embassy of Luxembourg in Portugal and the Chamber of Commerce brought together key figures from both countries, reinforcing the strong and growing ties between the ecosystems. Meanwhile, the Magusto Tech Plus event showcased best practices in global digital solution development, powered by Quidgest and supported by the Chamber of Commerce of Industry Portugal Luxembourg.

Another highlight was the Startup Guide Summit, where the new European edition of the Startup Guide was unveiled. Developed in collaboration with the House of Startups, the guide spotlighted Luxembourg’s dynamic and collaborative innovation ecosystem as an essential pillar of the Europe’s tech landscape.

Luxembourg was also represented by nine innovative startups: Helpuddy, Quattro Creative Studio, Nash FintechX, TECH4GREAT, PertalksGroup, Better.ette, Investre, Monnett and Videobot. Together, they showcased their technologies in the domains of fintech, digital services, AI –driven tools, creative technologies and platform innovation – illustrating the depth and diversity of Luxembourg’s entrepreneurial scene.

While last year’s Web Summit was described as the “grand conclave of the tech industry’s high priests”, the 2025 edition leaned even further into a builder-driven culture – one focused on clarity, practical insight and open collaboration. Luxembourg leaves Lisbon with reinforced global links, new avenues for cooperation and fresh momentum for the year ahead.
