UEL statement on the invasion of Ukraine by Russia

The Luxembourg Employers’ Association UEL and its member organisations – ABBL, ACA, Chamber of Commerce, Chambre des Métiers, clc, Fédération des Artisans, FEDIL and Horesca – strongly condemn the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.  
 
In these dramatic moments Luxembourg employers stand by Ukraine, expressing their solidarity with the Ukrainian people and their support of the international effort in its determination to confront a war. Economic prosperity and peace always come together, and any military aggression puts the wellbeing of all concerned nations and their people under inacceptable threat, thereby producing damage on all sides. 
 
UEL also supports the Luxembourg government in all economic and social challenges which will shortly follow the recent events. Luxembourg employers will fully cooperate with our national authorities in a common effort to mitigate the consequences of the war on Luxembourg companies.
