Since the announcement of the creation of Nexus2050, the international tech pulse, to be held in Luxembourg in Summer 2024, the production team has vigorously worked on a series of partnerships, started programming, and will continuously announce numerous updates in the upcoming weeks and months. Nexus2050 is a new annual tech event offering three days of discovery, inspiration, and learning, as well as opportunities for encounters, networking, and matchmaking. But first things first. Nexus2050 has announced its “Global Partner” following the signing of a convention this week with the Chamber of Commerce.

For Carlo Thelen, CEO – Director General of the Chamber of Commerce: “Digitalization, internationalization, and innovation are essential vectors for the development of companies, and important levers for boosting entrepreneurial performance and economic competitiveness. The Nexus2050 trade fair is a modern, dynamic event with all the ingredients needed to continue attracting key players and decision-makers from the ICT industry to the Grand Duchy, and to serve as a springboard for the country to promote its economic assets internationally. As a strategic institutional partner, the Chamber of Commerce is pleased to commit itself as a "Global Partner" alongside Nexus2050 E.I.G. and is delighted to continue its active support in a major event of economic importance to Luxembourg. Event formats of this kind are of great benefit to our country, not only in providing access to a multitude of services and qualified business contacts for our companies but also in promoting the country as an attractive event incubator which, thanks to its cross-border and international reach, will attract professionals from all over the world.

The Chamber of Commerce, within the framework of its activities of the Enterprise Europe Network, has developed expertise in organizing matchmaking events that help exhibitors and visitors enhance and optimize their participation through targeted business meetings prepared in advance.

Numerous partner organizations of the European business support network 'Enterprise Europe Network' (EEN) will be promoting the event throughout the EU and beyond, mobilizing business delegations to participate in the show and the GO International Business Meetings. For proximity markets and the neighboring regions of the Greater Region, the event will also be a focal point for companies, economic players, and political representatives, to intensify cross-border cooperation at all levels” says Sabrina Sagramola, Manager International Affairs & EEN National Coordinator of the Chamber of Commerce.

At Nexus2050, the Chamber of Commerce will oversee the matchmaking event “GO International Business Meetings”.

Cindy Tereba, Director of International Affairs at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, emphasizes the importance of having a renowned tech show in Luxembourg to attract foreign companies to the Luxembourg market. “The Nexus2050 event reflects the economic dynamics in the field of technology and innovation and demonstrates the openness of our economy to the international market. We are in the process of activating our various partner networks abroad to invite them to discover this promising new event.”

Steve Breier, Director – Head of Finance & IT of the Chamber of Commerce adds: “The Chamber of Commerce is committed to this event to achieve, together with the other partners, a high-quality ICT event in Luxembourg. The main aim is to satisfy the needs of member companies and to offer a unique meeting platform to companies by strengthening the national ICT ecosystem. For us, the Nexus2050 trade fair is an important event that covers all current ICT topics & trends with the aim of informing and raising awareness among companies, and more specifically SMEs.”

Nexus2050 is an economic interest group by The Dots, a tech-focused marketing agency founded in 2021 by entrepreneur Kamel Amroune, and Maison Moderne, a media company founded in 1993 by entrepreneur Mike Koedinger, with activities that nourish an ecosystem for economic and financial circles.

The first edition of Nexus2050 – The International Tech Pulse will be organized in Luxembourg-City at the international exhibition hall Luxexpo and take place on June 26-27, 2024.
