Whilst the national statistics bureau Statec sees the Luxembourg economy continuing to “stall,” Fedil describes the economic situation as “disappointing.” For the director of the business federation René Winkin, “it is certainly at international level that it is more so. The issue of tariffs has still not been resolved in relation to the United States, with all that that implies in terms of consequences. If there is no agreement with Asian countries, the pressure of goods from these countries on our markets will increase even further..”
