International Logistics Day 2012

In the framework of the International Logistics Day 2012 (November 14th), which will be celebrated for the first time in Luxembourg, the Cluster for Logistics organizes an major event on Monday, November 12th 2012 from 6 p.m. until 9.30 p.m. 

The final report of the study “Future for Logistics in luxembourg” led by the Cluster for Logistics, Luxembourg will be officially presented to the audience in the presence of ministers, major players of the sector and the press. 

This event will be held around major topics such as:

• Importance of Luxembourg as an logistics hub;

• A logistics master plan for Luxemburg as international logistics hub;

• The choices to strengthen Luxembourg global framework;

• The implementation of the future actions;

• The presentation will be followed by a walking dinner.

Programme:

18.00 – 18.15 : Welcome speech by Mr. Pierre Gramegna, Director General of the Chamber of Commerce and President of the Cluster for Logistics

18.15 - 18.30 : Welcome allocation by Mr. Etienne Schneider, Minister of the Economy and Foreign trade

18.30 – 19.15 : Presentation of the study Future for Logistics in Luxembourg by Mr. Alain Krecké, Manager, Cluster for Logistics Luxembourg

19.15 – 19.45 : Logistikregion TRILUX by rof. Dr. Johannes Weinand, Director, Office for Urban Development and Statistics, City of Trier

19.45 – 20.15 : EUROPORT Lorraine by Mr Patrick Weiten, President of the General Council for the department Moselle

20.15 – 20.30 : Conclusion by Mr Claude Wiseler, Minister of Sustainable Development and Infrastructures
