At the opening of the third edition of Nexus Luxembourg this Wednesday morning at LuxExpo The Box, Prime Minister Luc Frieden called for “AI of Europe, by Europe and for Europe”. Alongside Lydie Polfer and Carlo Thelen, he advocated for European technological sovereignty based on values, infrastructure and investment.

Luxembourg officially launched the third edition of Nexus Luxembourg at LuxExpo The Box on Wednesday morning with a clear ambition: to make Europe a leading player in artificial intelligence, rivalling the United States and China. One after another, the prime minister, Luc Frieden, the mayor of Luxembourg, Lydie Polfer, and the director general of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, Carlo Thelen, have championed a European vision of AI, centred on technological sovereignty, infrastructure, investment and swift implementation.
