The Chamber of Commerce would like to inform its members about the recent launch by the European Commission of two valuable resources, the AI Act Service Desk and the Single Information Platform. These initiatives aim to support trustworthy AI development while providing legal clarity across Europe. The Single Information Platform will serve as a central hub for relevant information related to the AI Act [1], offering stakeholders comprehensive guidance on how to navigate its content, understand how it applies, and access tailored orientations on its implementation.
The Platform includes three digital tools, various materials and resources:
The AI Act explorer is an online tool designed to help users to easily browse through the text, the annexes, and the recitals of the AI Act,
The Compliance Checker is a tool which enables users to determine whether they are subject to legal obligations under the AI Act and understand the steps to take to comply with,
An online form will allow users to submit questions to the AI Act Service Desk,
National resources section to consult local initiatives, useful information, contact points, and communication materials from EU Member States related to the AI Act,
FAQ and Latest News sections.
The Platform is a part of the AI Act Service Desk, a team of expert professionals working in close cooperation with the AI Office on addressing questions raised by stakeholders.
Any company or person interested in sharing its opinion or questions with the Chamber of Commerce on the above-mentioned topic is invited to contact juridique@cc.lu.
