For the third consecutive edition, Nexus Luxembourg confirmed its position as a flagship event dedicated to “Accelerating AI and Tech for a Better Tomorrow”. Bringing together over 9,600 visitors and over 675 speakers, including 247 startups and scaleups, the event served as a dynamic platform to highlight cutting-edge innovations across key sectors, including Artificial Intelligence, autonomous systems, cybersecurity, fintech and technologies boosting productivity across industries.

The official inauguration welcomed prominent political, institutional and industry leaders including Prime Minister Luc Frieden, Carlo Thelen, Director General of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, Henna Virkkunen, Executive Vice-President for Tech Sovereignty, Security and Democracy at the European Commission, Lydie Polfer, Mayor of Luxembourg City, Octave Klaba, Founder of OVHcloud, and Robert Friedland, Founder and Executive Chairman at I-Pulse/Ivanhoe Mines.

In his speech, Carlo Thelen highlighted the strategic importance of AI for Europe’s future competitiveness: “Artificial intelligence has become a defining force of economic power, strategic resilience and sovereignty. Europe is moving with greater clarity and ambition, but sovereignty is not secured by intention alone. It is built through infrastructure, investment, talent and the capacity to execute at speed. Luxembourg has laid the foundations through its strategic choices, its technological assets and the strength of its ecosystem. Now is time to accelerate adoption, strengthen capabilities and convert ambition into measurable impact for our economy.”

As a Premium Institutional Partner of Nexus Luxembourg, the Chamber of Commerce played a proactive role throughout  the event, pursuing two strategic priorities: supporting the growth of Luxembourg-based companies and boosting international business partnerships.

Located in the “Luxembourg Makes It Happen” zone, the Chamber of Commerce stand showcased its comprehensive portfolio of services, designed to foster the development of companies across five key pillars: “Expand your business”, “Digitalize”, “Sustainable transition”, “Start & Scale” and “Talents & Skills”.

The Chamber of Commerce further elevated the programme by participating in high-level panel discussions, sharing expertise and strategic insights on key technological and economic trends shaping the future.

To strengthen the international dimension of Nexus Luxembourg 2026, the Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the partners of the Luxembourg Trade & Invest, organised an “International Guest Program”. This initiative offered foreign delegations an opportunity to discover Luxembourg’s innovation ecosystem and economic landscape, followed by two days of matchmaking during the event. In total, the programme welcomed 26 foreign delegations from 23 countries counting 365 international participants.

Organised by the Chamber of Commerce and its Enterprise Europe Network, the “GO International Business Meetings” stood out as a key highlight to foster tech partnerships at Nexus Luxembourg. The meet-up area was located in the Launchpad Area, in proximity to startups and generated strong interactions.

More than 764 meetings were held onsite, complemented by over 21,000 connections that were made possible through the event’s official app. Building on this momentum, the Chamber of Commerce will actively support participating companies in translating these exchanges into concrete, long-term and sustainable partnerships.
