Recognising that international relocation often involves the entire family, the programme is designed to help participants explore career, education, entrepreneurship and community engagement opportunities, while facilitating their integration into Luxembourg's economic and social ecosystem. By supporting the successful integration of spouses or partners, the programme helps strengthen Luxembourg's capacity to attract global talent while fostering the long-term retention of skilled professionals and their families. 

Organised by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Ministry of the Economy and the Ministry of Labour, and delivered in collaboration with several partners, the programme helps participants identify and pursue the opportunities best suited to their aspirations, skills and ambitions.
 

A gateway to opportunities in Luxembourg 

The Luxembourg Spouse Programme begins with an Introduction and Orientation Module, designed to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of Luxembourg's economic landscape, labour market and available support services. Through presentations, networking opportunities and exchanges with partner organisations, participants gain valuable insights and guidance to help shape their next steps.

As the gateway to the programme, participation in the Introduction and Orientation Module is required before joining any of the programme pathways. It enables participants to gain a clear understanding of the opportunities available in Luxembourg and identify the pathway, or combination of pathways, best suited to their personal and professional objectives.

For the first edition of the Introduction and Orientation Module, participants can choose between: 

While both formats provide access to the same information and insights, the in-person session offers a unique opportunity to meet programme partners, connect with other international spouses and start building valuable professional and social connections in Luxembourg.  

Four pathways to support every journey 

Following the Introduction and Orientation Module, participants can pursue one or more pathways corresponding to their personal and professional goals.  

Pathway to Work 

Delivered by the House of Training in collaboration with ADEM, this pathway supports participants seeking to enter or re-enter the labour market through individual coaching, employability workshops, career planning, job application preparation and networking opportunities with employers.

Pathway to Entrepreneurship 

Designed for aspiring entrepreneurs, this pathway provides access to the expertise and services of the House of Entrepreneurship, helping participants transform business ideas into viable projects and companies.  

Pathway to Continuing Education 

Presented by the Maison de l'Orientation, this pathway helps participants explore lifelong learning opportunities, skills assessments, career transitions, and the recognition of foreign diplomas and qualifications. It offers guidance for those wishing to enhance their skills, change careers or pursue further studies in Luxembourg.
