From the start of the 2026/2027 school year, holders of a conventional or general secondary school leaving certificate, or a technician's diploma (or equivalent), will be able to follow a one-year vocational training course leading to a vocational aptitude diploma (DAP). These courses, known as 1re DAP, were presented by the Minister for National Education, Children and Youth, Claude Meisch, at a press conference on 26 January 2026.
