Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce recommendations
Due to the recent developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the General Directorate for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and the Chamber of Commerce recommend that companies in Luxembourg planning travel abroad for urgent professional reasons provide any employees that will be travelling with certificates attesting negative COVID-19 test results prior to travel and dated less than 48 hours before departure.
Companies can request free tests for their employees that need to travel to countries that require a negative COVID-19 test. To obtain a free test, the following information should be sent to covid19@houseofentrepreneurship.lu: company name, country of destination, date of travel abroad (date when crossing the border), number of employees travelling, as well as motives and any documents justifying the trip.
Upon receipt of the documentation required for the request, a one-time use code (one per employee) and a personal link for making an online appointment will be sent by email to the company. Tests are free and are done by appointment from Monday to Saturday morning in one of the 17 testing stations in the country.
Please note that it takes 48 hours to receive results. Companies are therefore encouraged to make their preparations for business travel abroad in time.
