The Chamber of Commerce would like to inform its members of a targeted public consultation recently launched by the European Commission to gather contributions on the implementation of the AI Act’s rules for high-risk AI systems.

This initiative aims to collect concrete examples and clarify certain questions regarding high-risk AI systems. The feedback will contribute to the development of the Commission’s future guidelines on the classification of high-risk AI systems, as well as the associated requirements and obligations. The consultation also seeks to gather opinions on responsibilities throughout the AI value chain.

The consultation is targeted to stakeholders of different categories, such as (but not limited to) providers and deployer of high-risk AI systems, other industry organizations, academia, other independent experts, civil society organizations and publics authorities.
