The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Luxembourg Trade Confederation (clc), is pleased to invite you to an awareness raising conference on the morning of 25 September 2019:
Calling all entrepreneurs!
One client can hide another – watch out for financial sanctions
Due to the reform of the implementation of restrictive financial measures, this conference aims to shed light on the range of restrictive measures, better known as international financial sanctions, as well as on risky behaviour, such as not carrying out background checks/due diligence on your clients with the aim of increased prevention and going beyond the fight against financing terrorism.
During the conference, representatives from the Ministry of Finance will also present best practices in an effort to raise awareness. Testimonies and examples of success stories from the field will be presented to corroborate the presentations.
This conference is aimed at all businesses, particularly those operating internationally, as well as their directors, compliance managers, corporate lawyers, and other advisors.
The conference will be held in french with translation in english.
