Thursday 5 Oct 2017

Lommel (B)

The Chamber of Commerce of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, in close cooperation with FLANDERS MAKE, will organise a sectoral mission to Flanders focused on the automotive industry and research. The mission will take place at the headquarters of:

Flanders Make in Lommel (B)
on 5th October 2017.

FLANDERS MAKE is the strategic research centre for the manufacturing industry, which does technological research in mechatronics, product development methods and production technologies.

Bringing together companies and research institutions, FLANDERS MAKE helps to realise concrete product and production innovations in the vehicle industry, in mechanical engineering and in production environments. Today FLANDERS MAKE counts more than 300 researchers who work full-time as a unique research community on a joint industrial research agenda. The research done by Flanders Make has one purpose: strengthening the product and process innovation within manufacturing companies so that this industry is better armed and able to cope today with the challenges of tomorrow.

The program of the visit will include sectoral workshops, information sessions, and a networking opportunity to discuss possible future collaborations with FLANDERS MAKE and its member companies. The mission is open to all sectors of activity. Nevertheless, a special focus will be put on automotive, ICT, materials and sustainable development. Interested companies are kindly requested to duly complete the registration form no later than 27th September. The cancellation fee will be 200 €.
