Visit of the Minister of the Economy from Turkey

We have the pleasure to inform you that on the 25th and the 26th of June 2013, a Turkish delegation led by HE Zafer Çaglayan, Minister of the Economy from Turkey, will visit Luxembourg.
 
In the framework of this visit and more specifically as a preparation of the official mission to Turkey that will take place in November, the Chamber of Commerce will host on Tuesday, the 25th of June 2013 at 3:00 pm a Turkey-Luxembourg Business Seminar at 7, rue Alcide de Gasperi – L-2981 Luxembourg.
 
This event will highlight the existing economic cooperation between Turkish and Luxembourg companies. At the opening of the seminar, a Joint Economic and Trade Committee Treaty (JETCO) will be signed by Ministers Zafer Çaglayan and Minister Etienne Schneider. The visit is part of the inauguration of the first regular scheduled direct flight Istanbul-Luxembourg, operated by Turkish Airlines.
 
Furthermore this seminar will offer the opportunity to discuss in depth the cooperation in the following sectors:

• Transport & Logistics
• Information, Communication and Satellite Technologies
• Construction
• Finance
• Tourism

 The seminar will be followed by a walking dinner offering excellent networking opportunities for companies to meet interesting potential business partners More information regarding the participants of the Turkish Delegation as well as a draft program will follow.
