From 4 to 6 November 2025, Luxembourg took part in Smart City Expo World Congress, one of the world’s leading trade fairs dedicated to urban mobility and the future of cities. Held annually in Barcelona, this flagship event brought together over 850 cities, 1,100 exhibitors and 25,000 attendees from all around the world, highlighting the human ingenuity in shaping the cities of tomorrow.
At the Luxembourg National Pavilion, 15 innovative companies proudly showcased the country’s expertise:
Arcelor Mittal, DEEP by Post Luxembourg, G-Core Labs, IEE, Indoor Forest, Luxembourg-City Incubator, Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology, NexusOps, RMT Labs, RSS Hydro, Ville de Differdange, Ville de Luxembourg, Videobot and WEO. Together, they highlighted Luxembourg’s cutting-edge know-how in smart mobility, energy, building and technology, reinforcing the country’s strong commitment to urban innovation.
The exhibitors benefited from a rich programme of networking and collaboration, including an official networking reception in the presence of Mr. Lex Delles, Minister of the Economy, SME, Energy and Tourism, and H.E. Ms Elisabeth Cardoso, Ambassador of Luxembourg in Spain, as well as meet & greets with international delegations from Belgium, France, and India.
Amid evolving global dynamics driven by mobility and technological innovation, Smart City 2025 is a strategic place to anticipate market trends and accelerate innovation. Luxembourg’s presence at this flagship event reinforces its position as European innovation hub working together for a more responsible future.
