On 12 & 13 February 2026, Luxembourg participated in the World AI Cannes Festival (WAICF), one of the world’s leading events dedicated to artificial intelligence, data and emerging technologies. Held annually in Cannes, this flagship event brings together global AI innovators, policymakers and industry leaders to explore how AI is shaping tomorrow’s economy and society.

The Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Luxembourg Trade & Invest, organised a national pavilion as well as a trade fair visit, that aimed to promote the nation’s growing AI ecosystem, boost international visibility and explore new avenues for collaboration at this renowned event. At the Luxembourg National Pavilion, a selection of visionary companies proudly showcased the country’s expertise in artificial intelligence and digital innovation. Participants included Luxembourg AI Factory, Clarence, Data Design Engineering, DEEP by Post Luxembourg, IndexBox, The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology and RMT Labs. Together, they highlighted the dynamism of Luxembourg’s ecosystem across fields such as cloud and data analytics, innovative technology research, and AI-driven process automation. Throughout the event, exhibitors benefited from an extensive programme on the pavilion including a dedicated workshop that presented Luxembourg’s AI ecosystem and how they support you in your AI adoption journey but also the Chamber of Commerce’s strategic vision in this field, followed by an official networking afterwork. A series of meet-and-greet sessions were also organised for Luxembourg companies, fostering fruitful exchanges between experts and visitors, particularly from Belgium, Italy, and Canada.

In parallel, as part of the trade fair visit, the delegation visited Sophia Antipolis, Europe’s leading technology park that is home to pioneering technology leaders and breakthrough innovations. There, companies met with representatives from risingSUD, Aktantis, the AI Cluster, Inria, and the Maison de l’IA, laying the groundwork for potential collaborations with key regional stakeholders.

WAICF continues to establish itself as the premier platform for showcasing the latest innovations in artificial intelligence. The event brought together more than 220 exhibitors, 10,000 professionals, and 300 conferences and demo sessions of AI leaders from across the globe. In a rapidly evolving global landscape, where AI is reshaping industries and driving competitiveness, WAICF 2026 proved to be a strategic platform for anticipating trends, strengthening partnerships, and accelerating innovation. Luxembourg’s active participation at this world-class event underscores its strong commitment to advancing responsible and human-centric artificial intelligence.
