On 8 and 9 June 2026, the Chamber of Commerce joined London Tech Week 2026 with a delegation of 60 participants representing 36 companies and 9 institutions from across Luxembourg's innovation ecosystem.
As one of Europe's largest technology gatherings, London Tech Week brings together thousands of entrepreneurs, investors, technology leaders and policymakers from around the world. Over two days, the Luxembourg delegation engaged with the UK's dynamic tech ecosystem, exploring opportunities for collaboration across fields including AI, cybersecurity, fintech, deep tech and health tech.
This year's event also saw major announcements around artificial intelligence infrastructure, including plans for a £750 million UK AI supercomputer using next-generation AI chips. The announcement reflected a broader theme that resonated throughout many of the discussions at London Tech Week: Europe has no shortage of talent, research and innovative startups. The challenge now is scaling these strengths into globally competitive technology companies, while strengthening sovereign capabilities in computing infrastructure and next-generation hardware.
As part of London Tech Week, the Business Club Luxembourg-United Kingdom, the Embassy of Luxembourg in London and the Chamber of Commerce were proud to host an evening reception celebrating talent and leadership among women in tech. The event also marked the launch of Women4Cyber UK, alongside Women4Cyber Luxembourg and TechWomen4Boards.
The visit once again demonstrated the strength of Luxembourg-UK cooperation in innovation and technology.
The next edition of London Tech Week will take place from 7 to 11 June 2027.
