Chamber of Commerce presents report with 34 ideas to keep Grand Duchy competitive and attract and retain talent.
English should become Luxembourg’s fourth official language, the country’s business lobby has aid, in a bid to attract talent to the Grand Duchy and boost competitiveness.
The language should be elevated to the same status as Luxembourgish, French and German, the Chamber of Commerce said in a report published on Tuesday. Alongside this, the chamber said that Luxembourgish should be promoted as the “language of integration”, noting how many new arrivals to the country speak neither French nor German.
