On Friday 4 February, M Luc Frieden, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg and representatives of the Luxembourg Arbitration Center and Luxembourg Arbitration Association had the honour of welcoming, under the initiative of Maxime Berlingin (Fieldfisher Belgium), the Presidents and General Secretaries of the Centre Belge d'Arbitrage et de Médiation (CEPANI), the Netherlands Arbitration Institute (NAI) and the Dutch Arbitration Association. The meeting took place under the CovidCheck regime. Talks were aimed at setting up a Benelux Arbitration Task Force in view of strengthening and promoting arbitration in the BENELUX area by creating links and collaborative projects between the main players in arbitration from each of the 3 represented jurisdictions.
