World Expo Dubai 2020 - NEW DATES: 1st October 2021 to 31st March 2022!
The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce is looking to optimise and diversify its impact in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) during the six months of the World Expo. It will do so by organising several uni-sectoral trade missions that highlight specific sectors, in addition to a multisectoral trade mission around a dedicated ‘Luxembourg Day’ and a ‘Made in Luxembourg’ week. The Chamber of Commerce will link its sectoral missions to major international fairs (UAE Anchor Events) organised in Dubai or Abu Dhabi with a strong regional outreach (e.g. Gitex, Gulfood, Arab Health), in order to take advantage of the World Expo and use the national pavilion to meet local contacts, and also to tap into networks of international fairs to facilitate sectoral networking.
The whole calendar of activities initially planned this year will be maintained and postponed to the new dates of the World Expo which are 1st October 2021 to 31st March 2022. More information about the dedicated economic program during the World Expo in Dubai can be checked on the website: https://www.cc2020.lu/.
