The World Bank publishes annually the report “Doing Business” covering an international comparison of the various regulations which have an impact on economic activity. The classification is based on nine indicators of business regulation which measure among other things the costs relating to official administrative requirements for setting up and managing businesses, cross-border trade, tax, closing down a business etc.
