The general decline in the expectations of European companies for 2021 in the context of the global COVID-19 pandemic that emerged from last year's Eurochambres Economic Survey has given way to an improved economic outlook for 2022. The results of the 29th annual edition of the Eurochambres Economic Survey show an improvement in the business climate across Europe and a return to greater optimism. Luxembourg is no exception. However, the effects of the health crisis are still very much present, in an uncertain and volatile context characterised by disruptions in global supply chains, new consumer habits and soaring energy prices. This note reviews the results of the Eurochambres Economic Survey (EES2022) published on 9 November 2021, while highlighting the specificities of the Grand Duchy.
