On November 26, 2015 the Luxembourg-Belgian Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain (BLCC) will award the most successful Luxembourg and Belgian companies exporting to the United Kingdom for the 19th time. Awards are also presented to the Best SME and Best Newcomer.

Why participate?

For companies doing business in the UK, the Golden Bridge Award is the perfect opportunity to celebrate their success, raise their company profile, reward their staff, and showcase their export credentials. Former winners and finalists have confirmed that the award has enhanced their image both at home and in the UK market. Winning companies can proudly display the Golden Bridge logo in their marketing material, building the prestige and reputation of the company.

Entry requirements for Luxembourg companies

1. All Luxembourg companies in the manufacturing or service sector can apply.
2. Companies must have been actively exporting to or trading in the UK for a minimum of three years.
3. The products or services must have their origins in Luxembourg.
4. The company must not have won a Golden Bridge Award in the last three years.

Application process

Prospective applicants should complete the entry form available on the website of the BLCC

Entries must be received by the 15th September, 2015. Entry is free of charge. After applications close, up to three companies will be shortlisted in each category, based on three main criteria:

1.     Financial performance
2.     Strategy and innovation
3.     Motivation for entering the awards

Companies will be informed in September whether they have been shortlisted. Shortlisted companies will be asked to attend a jury meeting in London in October, where the winners will be chosen.

Ceremony

All shortlisted companies will be invited to the awards ceremony in the prestigious Victorian Ballroom at the BLCC Club House in central London. This will be a glamorous and exciting evening attended by many successful Luxembourg, Belgian and British businesses, as well as influential trade and investment representatives.
