On 1 October 2020, the Chamber of Commerce and its Enterprise Europe Network, together with the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, organised the webinar ‘Prepare4Brexit: Getting ready for changes’.

This event was organised in the continuity of the ‘Prepare4Brexit’ series of conferences launched in 2019, and was its first event taking place in digital form.

The virtual programme aimed at raising awareness about the far-reaching and automatic changes for businesses as of 1 January 2021 and at facilitating the readiness preparations for the Luxembourg companies active in the UK market.

More than 200 participants registered for the webinar during which, M. Stefaan de Rynck, Senior Advisor to Michel Barnier and Member of the UK Task Force at the European Commission, outlined the changes that would be coming following this ninth round of Brexit negotiations currently taking place.

The presentations were followed by a live question and answer session.
