Entrepreneurs, stay tuned for the upcoming Arch Summit, on 3rd and 4th April!

Entrepreneurship

The House of Entrepreneurship of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce will team up with the Ministry of Economy and Luxinnovation at their stand to promote the Luxembourg startup ecosystem during the Arch Summit on 3-4 April in Luxembourg City. The 40m2 stand will bring together several partners that are actively supporting startups in Luxembourg, including the House of Startups, also powered by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, who will present a first sneak peek of their ambitious pilot project: EU-Tribe – The Greater Region Incubator Network.

EU-Tribe – The Greater Region Incubator Network, is set for pre-launch at this week’s Arch Summit

Following a sneak peak at the Arch Summit this week to unveil the core concept, the targeted timeline for the official launch of the EU-Tribe project by the House of Startups is autumn 2019. The aim of this ambitious project is to build a network based on mutual support and an online platform of incubators, accelerators, startups, investors, research centres, universities and other innovation hubs coming from the Greater Region of Wallonia, Lorraine, Luxembourg, Saarland and Rheinland Pfalz. Together, the Greater Region represents a tech megalopolis of 11 million people, including more than a thousand startups, within approximately an hour’s drive radius. The House of Startups has indeed already developed partnerships with local incubators and key players from the Greater Region, including Lorntech (Lorraine) and Digital Devotion Group (Kaiserslautern).

“By combining forces and coming together through EU-Tribe, we have the opportunity to build a bigger and stronger innovation ecosystem whose critical size and importance could join the level of other major ecosystems such as Berlin or Paris. Moreover, this stronger ecosystem would also mean that startups who settle here have easy access to four different European markets. EU-Tribe will serve as a fast track for a startup to quickly expand on an international level. This is a unique opportunity that we, as the Greater Region, really need to take advantage of if we want to improve the Greater Region’s competitiveness” says Karin Schintgen, CEO, House of Startups, Luxembourg.

The EU-Tribe’s pre-launch at the Arch Summit will be the perfect occasion to unveil this project and test out the concept in front of numerous local and international innovation leaders, incubators, accelerators, investors and startups gathering in Luxembourg for the event. The feedback collected will provide plenty of useful data for the project’s next steps.
